Use links and social icons for destinations
A custom link lets you choose a title and destination. A catalogue site provides its familiar identity, while social icons appear together below your biography. Email and phone links open the corresponding app. A Session contact can publish an account identifier to copy instead of a web destination. Choose a label that makes the action clear before someone selects it.
Add context with headings, text and separators
Headings organise related blocks. Text can explain a project, give joining instructions or introduce a reading list, and separators add space where it helps. Prepare several new blocks before saving and duplicate a layout you want to reuse. Hide a block to retain its content and statistics without keeping it on the public page. The account supports up to 500 blocks, including hidden ones.
Show a video without loading the player first
Paste a supported HTTPS YouTube, Shorts or youtu.be link, optionally with a supported start time. After saving, the server can prepare a thumbnail stored by privtr/ee. The visitor sees a local card before choosing Play or Watch on YouTube. Play loads YouTube's privacy-enhanced player; it still sends connection data to YouTube and is not anonymous playback.
Publish contact details from the Contact section
The separate contact card is for the public details you choose: title, organisation, note, email, phone and website. It can offer a .vcf download and a locally generated QR code for the profile. Select links, card or both as the profile mode. Review the actual public card and downloaded file; an older stored contact block is not the same feature.
Share only a public PGP key
A PGP block shows the full primary-key fingerprint calculated by the server and offers the public key for download. Supported version 4 and version 6 keys can be added, with up to 16 PGP blocks per account. The key material may contain names or emails. Never upload a private key. Reading a key and calculating its fingerprint does not verify identity, signatures, revocation or expiry.
Keep a normal destination beside invitations
An optional invitation template can insert named codes into the path or query of the same destination site. Codes arriving with a profile link can be remembered separately for that profile for up to 30 days; visiting again without a new code does not extend that time. Without a valid code or JavaScript, the ordinary destination is used. The external service decides what a code means, and codes are not added to profile statistics.
